Photo Guestbooks

Photo guestbooks are becoming a popular alternative to a traditional guestbook where guests just sign their name. Basically a photo guestbook is a scrapbook with one photo per page, where the guests can write comments and good wishes on the page with their photo on it.

There are a couple of ways to do this. You can designate someone (either a guest or your photographer's assistant if they are willing) to snap a Polaroid or digital photo of each guest or family as they come in. The photo is printed out and attached the scrapbook page right then, and then the guests sign it and leave their comments. Or you can simply assign a page to each guest or family, and mark off a spot on the page where the photo will be added later if you don't have a printer available or are using film to shoot the photos. Either way a photo guestbook makes a nice record of all your guests, and gives room for more than just a signature.
