Enlargements Will Look Bad
Many people believe that photos taken with a digital camera will look bad if they are enlarged. This is probably because we've all seen the jagged, blurry photos (the photos with little squares visible in them) that someone took at a low resolution.
The fact is that professional photos shot (and then printed) at a high resolution will NOT have the jagged edges you may have seen in snapshots. I've enlarged photos to 16x24 and larger with no problems whatsoever. They look great, and they were shot at my camera's highest jpg setting.
If you're worried about how enlargements will look, ask your photographer to show you some in the size you think you would like.
