Artsy Must-Take Photos

There are a few artsy photos out there that many people want. These typically include the following photos:

• The bride & groom kissing and/or dancing in a crowd, with the bride & groom in color and everyone else in black & white.
• The bride & her bridesmaids gathered in a circle, either laying on the ground looking up at the photographer or standing looking down at the photographer.
• The bride holding her bouquet behind her back, with the emphasis on dress details and the flowers.
• Ring shots - either in flowers or held out toward the camera.
• Groom & groomsmen walking toward the camera, ideally laughing and joking around.
• Bride & groom walking away from the camera while looking back over their shoulders at the camera
• Groom dipping the bride
• Bride & groom kissing in the back window of the getaway car or, alternatively, bride & groom waving from sunroof of the limo.
• Flowers or other wedding-related items in the foreground, with the bride & groom holding hands or kissing in the background. (Typically there are two version of this photo, with the focus first on the foreground items and next on the bride & groom.)

Of course, there are many many more photos that could be listed. If there's a special shot you really want, be sure to tell your photographer, otherwise my suggestion is to go with a photographer that already takes the types of photos you're looking for and then just let them shoot.
